The Houthi group announced on Tuesday evening that they carried out a military operation targeting Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv in central Israel with a ballistic missile.
The Houthi military spokesperson stated: “We carried out a military operation against Lod Airport in occupied Jaffa with a ‘Palestine 2’ ballistic missile.”
He affirmed that the “military operation achieved its objectives and drove millions into shelters.”
According to Hebrew media, a total of 50 missiles have been launched from Yemen towards Israel since the resumption of fighting in the Gaza Strip on March 18.
