Taiz Governorate Police have announced the launch of the second phase of the weapons regulation campaign, aimed at seizing unlicensed firearms and destroying any unauthorized weapons.
The police confirmed that the campaign is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen security and stability and uphold the rule of law.
They noted that the crime resolution rate reached 94% during the month of April, affirming that the police force is operating with high efficiency and vigilance.
Authorities warned against any illegal armed activity, emphasizing that justice will take its course in cases such as that of the child Mirsal, in which several suspects have been apprehended and the pursuit of other perpetrators is ongoing.
