Israeli Army Announces Interception of Missile Launched by Houthis from Yemen

Yemen Monitor/Newsroom:
The Israeli army said on Wednesday that it had intercepted a missile launched from Yemen towards Israel.
The missile launch coincided with US President Donald Trump’s visit to the Gulf region.
Trump had announced reaching a ceasefire with the Houthis in Yemen, which would halt attacks on US ships.
Trump said in early May that the US would stop bombing the Houthis in Yemen after the group agreed to stop its attacks on US ships.
The Houthis said they would continue launching missiles and drones towards Israel.
The Houthis have attacked numerous ships in the Red Sea, causing disruptions to global trade, a campaign the Yemeni group says is aimed at showing solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza.
