Sana’a: Bodies of Two Young Girls Recovered After Being Swept Away by Floodwaters in Bani Matar

Diving and water rescue teams from the Civil Defense Authority in Sana’a recovered the bodies of two young girls from the Al-Eshash stream in Bani Matar District, Sana’a Governorate, after floodwaters swept them away while the vehicle they were in attempted to cross the watercourse.

In response, the Civil Defense Authority warned citizens against being near or crossing flood passages and water outlets during rainfall.

It emphasized the importance of avoiding the risk of crossing valleys and ravines during flooding, due to the severe danger such actions pose to lives and property.
