The National Security Forces (formerly the Security Belt) foiled an attempt to smuggle a large quantity of ammunition on Tuesday in Aden, concealed aboard a “Dina” truck in the Khormaksar district.
A security source explained that the seizure took place at one of the security checkpoints after the truck raised suspicions due to modifications in its structure. Following a thorough search, a large quantity of ammunition was discovered, according to the official website of the National Security Forces.
The source indicated that the seized items included several boxes of ammunition of calibers 23, 21, and 14.5mm, in addition to Dushka ammunition plates and other related equipment. He confirmed that the seized materials have been handed over to the relevant authorities to complete legal procedures.
