Dismissal of the Director of the Oil Company on Hadramawt Coast and Appointment of a Replacement

A member of Yemen’s Presidential Leadership Council and Governor of Hadramawt, Salem Al-Khanbashi, issued a decision on Wednesday to dismiss the General Manager of the Oil Company on the Hadramawt coast, Abdulrahman Ayedh Balfas, and appointed Saeed Ahmed Saeed Al-Daini as his replacement.

Former Minister of Oil and Minerals, Saeed Al-Shamasi, had previously assigned Saeed Al-Daini as director of the Oil Company on the Hadramawt coast at the end of December 2025. However, former Prime Minister Salem bin Breik later issued a directive suspending that decision.

Balfas had remained in his position, to which he was appointed in November 2022, while Al-Daini has been serving as Deputy Director and Director of Financial Affairs at the company’s coastal branch.
