Yemen Monitor/Newsroom:
On Wednesday, the exchange rates of foreign currencies against the Yemeni riyal remained stable at the same levels as recent days in areas under the control of the legitimate government, with no significant changes recorded.
Banking sources told “Yemen Monitor” that the exchange rate of the Saudi riyal reached 410 Yemeni riyals at money exchange shops and companies, while the US dollar stabilized at 1,558 Yemeni riyals.
In contrast, exchange rates have continued their relative stability for years in areas under the control of the Houthi group, where the Saudi riyal is traded at around 140 Yemeni riyals, and the US dollar exchange rate ranges between 535 and 540 riyals.
