Mothers Of Abductees Call for Ending Detainees’ Suffering Ahead Of Ramadan

Yemen Monitor / Newsroom:
The Association of Mothers of Abductees called for ending the suffering of abductees in Yemen by securing their release, on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
In a statement published on its account on the X platform, the association said:
“On this great religious occasion, we remind the entire world that hundreds of Yemeni families are welcoming Ramadan for the eleventh consecutive year with broken hearts and empty seats at the iftar table.”
The association urged what it described as “living consciences” to make Ramadan a real opportunity to embody the values of humanity by working seriously to end the suffering of abductees and to clear the prisons, ensuring their return to their families so that the joy of reunion can be complete during this blessed month.
