Hadramawt Security Committee Bans Unauthorized Gatherings and Protests in Mukalla and Province Districts

The Security Committee in Hadramawt province issued a statement affirming its commitment to preserving security and stability in the city of Mukalla and across all cities and districts of the province. This comes especially in light of the exceptional and sensitive circumstances Hadramawt is experiencing, and in accordance with the declared state of emergency.
The committee warned against holding any gatherings, protest sit-ins, or marches that are not officially authorized, in order to maintain public security and prevent any breakdown of order or exploitation by parties seeking to destabilize the region.
It called on all citizens to demonstrate awareness and national responsibility, and to avoid being drawn behind suspicious or incendiary calls aimed at stirring chaos or exploiting legitimate demands for agendas that do not serve Hadramawt and its people.
The committee emphasized that security forces will carry out their duty with full rigor and take necessary legal measures against anyone violating these directives, in accordance with prevailing laws and the emergency law, to protect public and private lives and property.
It reiterated its confirmation of standing with the citizens and its keenness to listen to their legitimate demands through official channels, working to address them in coordination with the relevant authorities. The committee urged everyone to cooperate and report any suspicious activities for the sake of the security and stability of Hadramawt.
