Yemen Monitor / Newsroom:
The Yemen U-17 national team held their first training session on Thursday afternoon at Muras United Stadium in the capital city of Bishkek, as part of their preparations for the Asian qualifiers.
The training session, led by Coach Haitham Al-Asbahi, focused on improving physical readiness and adapting to the natural grass surface, which is similar to the match venue where the team will face Kyrgyzstan next Saturday.
Yemen national team is placed in Group 2, which includes Kyrgyzstan, Guam, Pakistan, Laos, and Cambodia. Only one team from the group will advance to the finals.
A technical meeting between representatives of the two teams will be held tomorrow, Friday, to discuss matters such as uniforms, security arrangements, and legal and refereeing instructions. This will be followed by a press conference where the coaches of both teams will speak about their squads’ readiness for the qualifiers.
