Yemeni Foreign Ministry Denounces Targeting of Event Attended by Trump, Stresses Counter-Terrorism Efforts

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in Yemen condemned the shooting incident that targeted the White House Correspondents’ Association annual dinner in Washington, which was attended by U.S. President Donald Trump.

In a statement, the Ministry expressed its strong denunciation of the incident, affirming its absolute rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism that threaten security and stability.

It also emphasized the Republic of Yemen’s full solidarity with the United States of America and its support for all efforts aimed at enhancing security and confronting security challenges.

This position comes within the framework of affirming the importance of international cooperation in combating violence and maintaining the stability of societies and the safety of public events.
