During its regular meeting in the temporary capital, Aden, the Yemeni government approved the establishment of an authority for Al-Dhale Public Hospital. This step aims to improve health services and alleviate the suffering of patients in the governorate and neighboring areas.
The meeting was chaired by Yemeni Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shayaa al-Zindani. The Council discussed political, economic, and security developments, alongside reports concerning government performance across several sectors.
Officials stated that the Council reviewed the implementation level of its previous decisions and was briefed on the latest work of the Crisis Management Committee, as well as efforts to enhance stability in areas under government control.
The Council also received briefings from the Ministers of Defense and Interior regarding the military and security situations, noting the readiness of forces to face various challenges.
In the health sector, the Council also approved a memorandum of understanding for regional cooperation with Djibouti, Somalia, and Sudan, within the framework of strengthening health partnerships.
The meeting discussed plans to develop institutional performance, including a project to create an integrated digital system for human resources management at the Ministry of Interior, alongside discussing ways to improve the collection of public resources and address financial imbalances.
On the economic front, the Minister of Industry and Trade presented a report on the supply situation, noting the stability of commodity stocks and the continuation of market monitoring procedures.
At the conclusion of its meeting, the Cabinet emphasized the importance of intensifying efforts to implement government plans in a way that enhances stability and meets the needs of citizens.
