Second Incident in Days: Child Killed by Houthi Shelling in Taiz
Yemen Monitor / Newsroom:
A child, 11-year-old Khaled Walid, was killed Tuesday evening by shelling launched by the Houthis on the city of Taiz (southwestern Yemen).
Local sources reported that the child died from injuries sustained by shrapnel from a shell fired by Houthi gunmen targeting Al-Mujaliya neighborhood in central Taiz.
This incident comes two days after the death of the child Jalal Amin, who was killed by Houthi sniper fire while returning from school.
Residential neighborhoods are subjected to repeated shelling by the armed Houthi group, positioned on several hills overlooking the city.
