Member of the Presidential Leadership Council and Governor of Hadramawt, Salem Ahmed Al-Khunbashi, directed members of the Security Committee to firmly confront all forms of disruption to security and public peace, in order to consolidate the foundations of security and stability across the various districts of the governorate.

During his presidency of a meeting of the Security Committee today, Sunday, in Al-Mukalla, he emphasized the importance of intensifying security efforts and coordinating work between various agencies and units, thereby enhancing the readiness of security institutions to deal with various challenges and negative phenomena that may affect the security and stability of society.

The meeting reviewed reports on the level of implementation of the security plan for the holy month of Ramadan, and the measures taken to strengthen security and stability during the remaining days of the holy month, in addition to early preparations to secure the atmosphere of Eid al-Fitr in a manner that ensures the maintenance of public peace and the protection of citizens and their property.

The Member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Governor of Hadramawt, and Chairman of the Security Committee emphasized—directing the necessity of exerting more effort to establish the pillars of security and stability in the governorate’s various districts and to firmly confront all manifestations of disruption to security and public tranquility.

The meeting discussed the necessary measures to reduce the phenomenon of carrying weapons and firing live ammunition during events and holidays, given the danger it poses to the lives of citizens and the safety of society, and the necessity of applying laws and regulations against violators without leniency.

He called on citizens to cooperate with and support the security and military services, and to report any movements or practices that would harm the security of the homeland and the citizen, stressing that maintaining security and stability is a shared responsibility that requires the concerted efforts of everyone.

The Presidential Council member praised the efforts made by security and army personnel in various locations, commending their role in preserving security and public peace, and valuing their constant vigilance and dedication in performing their national duty.
