Al-Alimi Condemns Iranian “Recklessness” Missiles on Neighboring Countries

Yemen Monitor / Newsroom:
The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad Muhammad al-Alimi, stated that the sinful Iranian attacks on the sovereignty and territories of several sisterly nations constitute aggression reflecting the regime’s approach based on exporting crises to destabilize the region.
This came during Alimi’s discussions today in Riyadh with the Ambassador of the United States to Yemen, Steven Fagin, regarding ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in facing shared security threats.
Alimi discussed with the US Ambassador issues related to securing international navigation routes, supporting the government’s efforts in achieving economic and institutional stability, restoring state institutions, and ending the coup backed by the Iranian regime.
The Chairman of the Leadership Council emphasized that the attacks targeting the Gulf states and Jordan reflect the level of recklessness with which the Iranian regime manages its policies to achieve illegitimate goals.
Alimi stressed the importance of continued maximum pressure on the Iranian regime and its proxies, and the sustainable securing of waterways by enhancing bilateral cooperation, strict enforcement of sanctions, and choking off financing, smuggling, and arming networks, as well as supporting the Yemeni state to impose its control over the entire national territory.
He reviewed the measures and procedures taken by the Yemeni government to respond to these developments across all political, economic, military, and security levels.
The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council praised the pivotal role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its honorable positions alongside the Yemeni people and their political leadership, considering the strategic partnership with the Kingdom a fundamental pillar for the stability of Yemen and the security of the region.
