On the third day of the American-Israeli war on Iran, the six Arab Gulf states were subjected to a series of attacks by Iranian drones and missiles, one day after a statement by the Council countries condemning the aggression on their territories and affirming their right to respond.
The Iranian attacks caused Qatar to halt gas production, the closure of the US Embassy in Bahrain, the death of two soldiers and the injury of 19 civilians in Kuwait, the burning of an oil tanker in the Strait of Hormuz off the coast of Oman, and the shutdown of the “Ras Tanura” refinery in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia after being subjected to an attack.
Politically, the US President said in statements today: “We were surprised by Iran’s attacks on Arab countries and we told them that we are capable of repelling the attacks; they want to fight and are participating now.”
The Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, stated that the renewed targeting of Qatar threatens bilateral relations with Iran, while the spokesperson for the Qatari Foreign Ministry said that the Iranian attacks targeted civilian infrastructure and cannot pass without a response.
From the Iranian side, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that targeting American bases is not an attack on the Gulf states, and that Tehran harbors no enmity toward them and is insistent on good relations, stressing that American bases in the region are legitimate targets for us.

State of Qatar
“QatarEnergy” announced today, Monday, the suspension of liquefied natural gas production due to the attacks, which led to a 50% jump in gas prices in Europe. A water tank at the Mesaieed power plants was attacked by two drones, and a power facility at Ras Laffan was attacked by a drone.
Qatari Defense revealed the downing of 7 ballistic missiles, 5 drones, and two Sukhoi SU-24 aircraft coming from Iran.
Politically, a call between the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed reducing tension in the region. The Qatari Amiri Diwan also announced that Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad received a call from UN Secretary-General António Guterres, in which he expressed his condemnation of the recent attacks on the State of Qatar.
For his part, the Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs stated that the renewed targeting of Qatar threatens bilateral relations with Iran. A call also took place between the Prime Minister and the Foreign Minister of Iraq.
In statements by the spokesperson for the Qatari Foreign Ministry, he said that the attacks targeted civilian infrastructure and cannot pass without a response.
State of Kuwait
Kuwait topped the news after 3 American aircraft fell to friendly fire “by mistake,” according to US forces, revealing a lack of coordination with Kuwaiti air defenses. Meanwhile, Iranian Defense announced that the American planes fell due to military targeting.
Video footage showed the crew of one of the American planes, consisting of a pilot and a co-pilot, in a Kuwaiti area. The Minister of Interior confirmed the readiness of the forces to confront any aggression and coordination with US forces regarding the plane crashes.
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense announced the mourning of two Sergeants in the Naval Forces, Walid Majid Suleiman and Abdulaziz Abdulmohsen Dakhil Nasser, while the Ministry of Health announced the reception of 19 injured persons. Media outlets also monitored smoke plumes surrounding the US Embassy after the embassy was subjected to two drone attacks without injuries, according to the US State Department. The Mina Al-Ahmadi refinery was also hit by missile shrapnel that caused a fire to break out.
United Arab Emirates
The UAE Ministry of Defense announced today, Monday, the confrontation of 174 ballistic missiles, noting that its air defenses destroyed 161 while 13 fell into the sea, in addition to 9 other ballistic missiles, 6 cruise missiles, and 148 drones.
In the same context, the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah said it dealt with falling shrapnel following a successful interception of a drone without injuries. In Dubai, a limited resumption of flights from Dubai Airport was announced.
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was subjected to a second targeting by Iranian drones that bombed the “Ras Tanura” refinery belonging to Aramco, leading to fires and rising smoke. Saudi Arabia announced the closure of the refinery.
For its part, the Saudi Ministry of Defense announced the interception and destruction of 5 hostile drones near Prince Sultan Air Base.
Kingdom of Bahrain
The US Department of Defense announced that two of its employees were injured in an Iranian attack targeting a hotel in Bahrain. It also announced that a ship was hit by two projectiles in the port of Bahrain and its crew was evacuated.
Bahraini Defense announced that air defense systems successfully repelled a new wave of attacks. The US Embassy announced the closure of its headquarters and directed its employees to avoid the “Greater Hamala” area in anticipation of an Iranian targeting.
The Bahraini Ministry of Interior called on citizens and residents to remain calm, head immediately to the nearest safe place, and follow instructions and updates via official approved channels.
Sultanate of Oman
The Quds Force of the Revolutionary Guard stood out in its announcement of targeting an oil tanker in the Strait of Hormuz belonging to American allies, according to what was reported by Iranian television. According to Agence France-Presse, the attack on the oil tanker (MK D-Vium) led to the death of one person while the ship is still burning.
