Abdullah Al-Alimi Calls for National Unity in the Battle to Restore the State

Member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Abdullah Al-Alimi, affirmed that the current stage requires unity of ranks and responsible alignment behind the battle of the inclusive state.

In a post on the (X) platform, Al-Alimi warned against diverting political or media efforts toward marginal issues or targeting national leaders and components, noting that such actions serve only the enemies of the homeland and contribute to weakening the front of confrontation.

He stressed that the present phase imposes a top national priority: serious work to normalize conditions in the liberated governorates, consolidate security and stability, and improve basic services in order to strengthen citizens’ trust in state institutions.

The Presidential Council member called for the formation of a national technocratic government free from quota-based power sharing, capable of bearing historical responsibility and confronting current challenges. He also emphasized the need to enhance coordination and integration among various military and security forces, paving the way for a comprehensive national battle to restore the state and extend its authority over all Yemeni territory.

Dr. Abdullah Al-Alimi praised the national and responsible role played by Presidential Leadership Council member Brigadier General Tariq Mohammed Abdullah Saleh, commending his serious and sincere efforts within the framework of the battle to end the coup.

He also highly valued the positive and pivotal role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in unifying national efforts, strengthening consensus among components, and its generous sponsorship of the southern dialogue.

He affirmed that the Kingdom’s unlimited economic and developmental support constitutes a fundamental pillar for alleviating citizens’ suffering and supporting the path toward restoring state institutions and ensuring their stability.
