Security Leaders from “South-Eastern” Provinces Depart for Riyadh

Yemen Monitor / Newsroom / Aden:

On Saturday, all Directors General of Police from the southern and eastern provinces, along with leaders of official security formations under the Ministry of Interior, departed for Riyadh from Aden and Seiyun airports.

According to informed sources, the police directors of Aden, Abyan, Al-Dhale’a, Lahj, Shabwa, Hadramawt, and Al-Mahra left for Riyadh after being summoned by the Coalition’s Joint Command. This move is part of efforts to reorganize the security file following the terrorist bombing that targeted Giants Brigade leader Hamdi Shukri.

The sources added that those arriving in Riyadh include the Commander of the Special Security Forces in Aden, the Commander of Facility Protection, and heads of various police departments in Aden.

The sources reported that these ongoing arrangements aim to prepare the security environment in Aden and the eastern and southern provinces prior to the formation of a new government and its return to Aden. The goal is to ensure stability and enable the government to carry out its duties effectively.
