Yemen Monitor / Newsroom:
The Ministry of Endowments and Guidance, represented by the Hajj and Umrah Sector, has announced an extension for the Hajj registration period for the 1447 AH season. The new deadline is set for 10 Ramadan, corresponding to February 27, 2026.
In an official statement, the Ministry explained that this extension is specifically designated for Yemen. It comes as a result of intensive coordination efforts with counterparts in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, providing an additional opportunity for those wishing to perform the Hajj pilgrimage to complete their registration and be included in this season’s lists.
The Ministry of Endowments and Guidance urged citizens wishing to perform Hajj to take advantage of this extension and initiate their registration before the deadline to ensure their names are included in the approved rosters.
The Ministry further noted that this coordination reflects the level of positive and ongoing cooperation with the relevant authorities in Saudi Arabia, which has contributed to facilitating Hajj procedures and expanding opportunities for citizens. It reaffirmed its commitment to continuing efforts to overcome any obstacles facing Yemeni pilgrims.
