Hadramawt Appellate Prosecution Denies Rumors of Terrorist Elements Escaping from Mukalla Prison

The Appellate Prosecution of Hadramawt Governorate has denied the veracity of circulating news regarding the escape of a number of Al-Qaeda organization elements from the central prison in the city of Mukalla.
According to the official agency, the Head of the Appellate Prosecution of Hadramawt Governorate, Judge Mohammed Al-Hajj, confirmed that what was published about the escape of Al-Qaeda elements is merely baseless rumors.
He clarified that the relevant judicial and security authorities have not recorded any escape incident or security breach within any prison or detention center, and that the conditions of inmates and prisoners, as well as guard and monitoring procedures, are proceeding in accordance with established regulations and laws, ensuring the preservation of security and stability.
The Head of the Appellate Prosecution of Hadramawt Governorate called on media outlets and social media users to verify accuracy and credibility, and not to be swayed by misleading news aimed at spreading fear and confusion among citizens. He affirmed that the prosecution is undertaking all necessary legal measures to maintain public security and normalize the state of stability.
