The leadership of the Security and Protection Battalion at the Al-Wadeeah land port (on the border between Yemen and Saudi Arabia) confirmed that work at the crossing is continuing normally and regularly. Passenger traffic and the flow of commercial goods are proceeding without any interruptions or obstacles, denying circulated reports regarding any operational disruptions.
The explanatory statement clarified that Al-Wadeeah crossing will remain open, as it is the sole land link currently connecting the Republic of Yemen and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and that services provided to travelers and traders continue around the clock.
The battalion leadership also reassured citizens and travelers that the security situation at the port is completely stable. It is under the direct protection of the Coalition to Support Legitimacy leadership to ensure the safety of travelers, the smoothness of transport movement, and the continuation of commercial exchange with ease and safety.
