Dr. Hamad Bin Abdulaziz Al-Kawari, Minister of State and President of the Qatar National Library, affirmed that the stability and unity of Yemen constitute a fundamental pillar for the security of the entire region.
He attributed this to Yemen’s strategic geographical location at the crossroads of international maritime corridors and its vital oversight of the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, in addition to its shared borders with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Sultanate of Oman.
He added that Yemen possesses a deep historical and civilizational depth, as well as the vital energy of its people, making it an essential element in regional stability. He stressed that the security of Yemen is an integral part of the security of neighboring countries and a prerequisite for regional and international security.
Dr. Al-Kawari called on all parties to fully assume their responsibilities and support serious efforts to preserve Yemen’s unity and sovereignty while ensuring its security and stability.
He emphasized the necessity of preventing any manipulation of Yemen’s unity, enabling the country to recover and move toward prosperity, considering this an inevitability for the security and stability of the region.
