In an Expanded Meeting… Al-Arada Calls for Greater Cohesion in Facing Challenges and Restoring the State

Yemen Monitor / Newsroom:
Major General Sultan Al-Arada, Member of the Presidential Leadership Council and Governor of Ma’rib, called for strengthening national cohesion and unifying ranks to face the challenges the country is experiencing in a “pivotal moment,” stressing that the top priority must be the battle to restore state institutions.
This came during an expanded meeting he held today in Ma’rib Governorate, which included members of the House of Representatives and the Shura Council, governors and their deputies, sheikhs, notables, and leaders of the Popular Resistance present in the governorate.
Major General Al-Arada affirmed that the difficult experiences the country has gone through have increased citizens’ awareness of the value of the state and the necessity of preserving its institutions. He emphasized the importance of the “voice of reason and wisdom” prevailing at this stage and moving towards building a Yemen that accommodates all its sons.
Al-Arada stressed that the top priority must be the “battle to restore state institutions” from the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militias, calling for uniting the Republican ranks and rallying around the state project.
He pointed out that defending the homeland and protecting its security is a “shared national responsibility” borne by all Yemenis without exception, and is not the exclusive domain of a specific governorate, party, or tribe.
Al-Arada reiterated that work will continue by all possible means to build the nation, preserve its dignity, and achieve the aspirations of the Yemeni people, emphasizing that the solidarity of national forces is the most important guarantee for overcoming challenges, no matter how great.
