Noureddine Walad Ali, the Algerian head coach of Yemen’s senior national football team, held a press conference this evening at the Al-Arabi Club headquarters in the Qatari capital, Doha. The conference was held in preparation for the anticipated match against the Comoros national team on Wednesday, November 26, as part of the preliminary qualification round for the Arab Cup, which Doha is hosting from December 1 to 18.
During the conference, Walad Ali emphasized that the players understand the importance of the match. He stated that the team is in top form and aims to remain in the tournament until the final match.
The coach added that while both national teams are striving for victory, this has provided his squad with a strong incentive to prepare for the confrontation with Comoros and achieve the best possible result. He noted that winning the match would bring shared joy to both the fans and the players.
For his part, Yemen national team player Omar Golan expressed that while the task is difficult, it is surmountable. He confirmed that the players have experienced a distinct atmosphere within the team and that morale is high, assuring that they will play with full force to win and bring happiness to the fans supporting the team everywhere.
