Marib Political Parties Express Solidarity with the Wounded and Urge the Presidential Council to Fulfill Its Responsibilities in Confronting the Houthis

Yemen Monitor / Newsroom / Marib:
Political parties in Marib have declared their full solidarity with the wounded members of the army and resistance forces, supporting their legitimate demands for continued medical treatment and payment of their financial entitlements. They also called on the government to care for the families of martyrs in recognition of their sacrifices.
In a statement obtained by Yemen Monitor, the Marib political parties urged the Presidential Leadership Council and the government to assume their responsibilities in confronting the Houthi group, which they said continues to commit grave acts of aggression against both the people and the nation.
The parties condemned the recent Houthi escalation, including attacks on international shipping lanes and threats directed at Saudi Arabia, reaffirming their full support for the army and resistance members who are facing difficult living conditions due to months-long delays in salary payments. They called for the immediate and regular disbursement of these salaries.
Marib’s political parties also rejected the clear marginalization and exclusion faced by the people of the governorate, urging the country’s top decision-making bodies to reconsider this course, which they described as a challenge to the broader national cause.
