Forces affiliated with the Southern Transitional Council (STC) announced the release of Hani Al-Yazidi, the former director of Al-Buraiqa district, one day after his arrest on the backdrop of his participation in a protest march in Crater in the interim capital, Aden.
Al-Yazidi is a leader in the Southern Renaissance Movement and one of the Salafist leaders who actively participated in the liberation of Aden in 2015. He was arrested on Tuesday evening while participating in a protest march on the eve of the celebration of the October 14 Revolution.
