Disruptions at Ben Gurion Airport After Missile Attack from Yemen

Yemen Monitor / Sana’a / Exclusive:

Navigation data indicates disruptions at Ben Gurion International Airport near Tel Aviv after Israel declared a state of alert in response to a missile launched from Yemen. The Houthis later announced that they had carried out an attack on the Israeli airport.

FlightRadar24 showed nine civilian aircraft approaching Tel Aviv from cities including Amsterdam, Munich, Berlin, Boston, Vienna, New York, Athens, and Abu Dhabi, which were forced to circle over the Mediterranean Sea and along Israel’s coastline.

On Sunday evening, the Houthis said they had targeted Lod Airport in the occupied Jaffa area with a hypersonic ballistic missile named “Palestine-2.”

Earlier on Sunday, Israeli forces attacked the Hizyaz power station south of Sana’a from submarines operating in the Red Sea.
