Yemen Monitor / Newsroom:
The Israeli occupation army announced today, Friday, that it had intercepted a missile launched from Yemen.
In a brief statement, the occupation army said, “We intercepted the missile launched from Yemen,” without providing additional details about the location or type of weapon used in the interception.
Following the incident, Israel’s Channel 12 reported that authorities had decided to temporarily close the airspace in anticipation of any additional threats.
Earlier, air raid sirens sounded in wide areas, including Greater Tel Aviv, occupied Jerusalem, and the Dead Sea region, after the army detected the missile launch.
Last Friday, the occupation army announced the interception of a missile launched from Yemen, while the Houthi group announced it had carried out attacks with a hypersonic missile and three drones.
