Child Killed, Brother Injured in Houthi Shelling of Residential Village West of Taiz

Yemen Monitor/Newsroom:
A young girl was killed and her brother seriously injured by shelling carried out by the Iran-backed Houthi militias on a residential village in Maqbanah district, west of Taiz governorate (southwest Yemen).
Local sources reported that the artillery shelling targeted citizens’ homes in Al-Hanayah village using mortar shells. This resulted in the death of the child Nawaze’h Musaed and the injury of her brother Mohammed Musaed while they were near their home.
Sources added that the injured boy was transported to the Saudi Field Hospital in Mokha city for treatment, amid a state of panic among residents due to the repeated shelling of residential villages.
