Marib Civil Defense Controls Fire That Engulfed Commercial Warehouse, No Casualties Reported

Civil Defense teams from the Marib Governorate Police successfully extinguished a fire that broke out in a commercial warehouse located on Al-Arsh Street, east of Marib city, on Thursday. No human casualties were reported.

The Command and Control Department of Marib Police stated they received a report about a fire in a warehouse containing various commercial goods, including accessories, cosmetics, stationery, and pesticides.

Civil Defense teams immediately responded to the scene, supported by security units. Firefighting operations began, leading to the complete control of the flames and preventing their spread to neighboring residential buildings and commercial shops.

Marib Police confirmed that preliminary investigations indicate the fire was caused by an electrical short circuit. The warehouse was completely damaged, but fortunately, there were no human injuries.

The Civil Defense Department urged citizens to adhere to preventive guidelines and safety instructions and to take measures that reduce the risk of fires. They emphasized the importance of immediately reporting any fire incidents to enable firefighting teams to intervene quickly and effectively to minimize losses.
