Taiz… Explosion Leaves One Dead and 21 Injured, Including Critical Cases

An explosion near Al-Qadsi Station in the Howed Al-Ishraf, east of Taiz, early Thursday morning has left one person dead and 21 others injured with varying degrees of severity.
According to a report issued by the Health Operations Room in Taiz, emergency teams were dispatched immediately after the explosion was heard, and the injured were transported to Al-Thawra and Al-Jumhouri hospitals for treatment.
The total number of victims reached 22, including one fatality. One critically injured person was placed in intensive care. Ten people suffered from suffocation and respiratory distress, while the other ten sustained various injuries caused by shrapnel and abrasions.
The report indicated that the victims included 19 men and 3 women, all adults.
Emergency teams continue their work at the scene, while hospitals monitor the conditions of the injured, amid fears that the number of casualties could rise.
