“Israel” Announces Interception of Missile Launched from Yemen

Yemen Monitor/Newsroom:

The Israeli occupation army stated in a statement today, Friday, that it is working to intercept a missile launched from Yemen towards Israel, at a time when air raid sirens sounded in Jerusalem.

This comes as Israel is launching an attack on Iran that has resulted in the killing of dozens – including a group of first-tier military leaders and nuclear experts – in widespread raids carried out by Israeli aircraft on various areas.

The Houthi group had earlier condemned in the strongest terms the Israeli attack on Iran, describing it as “blatant Zionist aggression.”

The Houthi Supreme Political Council affirmed in a statement published by the group’s Al-Masirah channel via the “X” platform, “Tehran’s right to a deterrent response to the Israeli attack.”

“Israel” launched a large-scale aerial attack on Iran early this Friday morning, targeting nuclear facilities and military sites, including the “Natanz” facility and IRGC headquarters in Tehran and Isfahan.

The raids resulted in the killing of IRGC Commander-in-Chief Hossein Salami, Chief of Staff Mohammad Bagheri, and Commander of Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters Major General Gholam Ali Rashid, along with others including military officials and nuclear scientists, according to Israeli and Iranian media reports.
