18,000 Yemeni Pilgrims Arrive in the Holy Lands

The Yemeni Ministry of Endowments and Guidance announced on Saturday that more than 18,000 Yemeni pilgrims have arrived in the holy lands to perform the Hajj pilgrimage for the year 1446 AH.
Mu’in Al-Turki, Head of the Field Committees for the Yemeni Hajj Mission, stated that 12,580 pilgrims traveled overland through Al-Wadee’ah border crossing, while 5,773 arrived by air. Among the air travelers, 5,333 departed from the airports of Aden, Seiyun, Riyan, and Al-Ghaydah, and 450 pilgrims flew from Sana’a International Airport.
Al-Turki noted that a total of 2,000 pilgrims are scheduled to be transported from Sana’a International Airport in coordination with Saudi authorities. He emphasized that the transportation process is being carried out according to a set timetable to ensure smooth movement and comfort for Yemeni pilgrims.
