Field Commander and Two Al-Qaeda Operatives Killed in Abyan, Southern Yemen

A field commander and two operatives of the terrorist organization Al-Qaeda were killed in a drone strike, believed to be American, targeting their vehicle in the “Tasabah” valley in Abyan Governorate, southern Yemen, according to local sources.

The sources identified the deceased as Salem Qassem Al-Kazmi, known as “Hassan Al-San’ani,” Abu Mohammed Al-Baidani, and another operative identified as “Abu Atta Al-San’ani.”

In the same month, Al-Qaeda leader in Yemen Mohammed Bahumish, known as Abu Yusuf Al-Mohammadi Al-Hadhrami, was killed along with another leader named Abu Assim Al-San’ani, following the explosion of a booby-trapped motorcycle in the Al-Samadah area of Al-Wadi district, east of Marib city in northeastern Yemen.
