Sirens Sound Across Israel After Missile Fired from Yemen

Yemen Monitor / Newsroom:
The Israeli military announced on Thursday that it had intercepted a missile launched from Yemen toward central Israel, triggering air raid sirens across wide areas, including the Greater Tel Aviv region and Jerusalem. Ben Gurion Airport was temporarily shut down as a precaution against further threats.
Israeli media reported that air defense systems successfully intercepted the missile before it entered Israeli airspace. No injuries or material damage have been reported so far.
Later, the U.S. Ambassador to Israel stated, “We just came out of the shelter after sirens were triggered by a Houthi ballistic missile launch.”
He added, “Every missile is made by Iran, which hates Israel and will never forget that it also hates the US.”
This development comes amid escalating regional tensions. The Houthi group has previously claimed responsibility for targeting Israeli sites with ballistic missiles, including Ben Gurion Airport, in solidarity with Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
