“Yemenia Airways” Announces the Destruction of Three Aircraft in the Israeli Bombing of Sana’a Airport

Yemenia Airways strongly condemned the Israeli attack on Sana’a International Airport, which resulted in the destruction of three of the company’s aircraft and caused significant damage to vital facilities in the capital, rendering the aircraft out of service.
The company affirmed in its statement that it is making every effort to resume its flight operations as soon as possible, noting that its aircraft currently at Queen Alia Airport will contribute to mitigating the effects of this crisis on passengers.
Yemenia Airways also reassured its employees that their rights will not be affected by this aggression, while emphasizing the company’s legal right to claim financial and moral compensation for the damages it incurred, in accordance with international civil aviation laws.
On Tuesday evening, Israeli warplanes launched an attack on Yemen, the second in less than 24 hours, targeting Sana’a International Airport and three power stations in the Haziz, Dhahban, and Aser areas around the capital, as well as the Amran Cement Factory north of Sana’a, with a series of airstrikes.
The Houthi Ministry of Health in Sana’a announced in a statement, “the killing of three citizens and the injury of 35 others as a result of the US-Israeli aggression on the Capital Secretariat and the Sana’a and Amran governorates in a preliminary toll.”
