Yemeni Presidential Council Member “Al-Alimi”: Political Partnership is Our Path to Security and Defeating the Iranian Project

Yemen Monitor/Newsroom:
Abdullah Al-Alimi, a member of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council, called for strengthening national solidarity and increasing coordination among all parties to confront the critical stage Yemen is going through.
Al-Alimi’s statements came during his meeting with leaders of the National Bloc of Yemeni Political Parties and Components, chaired by Ahmed bin Daghr, where they discussed the latest local and regional developments and ways to strengthen national unity in confronting what he described as the “Iranian project” in Yemen.
Al-Alimi affirmed that “the historic opportunity before Yemenis today is to strengthen political partnership and make collective decisions that serve the aspirations of the people for stability and building a just state,” noting that political forces are a fundamental partner in shaping the future and not just a temporary ally.
Al-Alimi also praised the role of the National Bloc in supporting the Presidential Leadership Council, describing their positions as “national and responsible,” especially in the battle to restore the state and end what he called the “Houthi coup.”
He touched on the importance of strengthening joint efforts in the political, economic, and humanitarian fields to achieve the aspirations of citizens in the liberated areas.
During the meeting, Al-Alimi reviewed the current challenges and available opportunities, stressing that success requires intensive field work and unifying visions among all national actors.
For their part, leaders of the National Bloc presented their vision for strengthening social cohesion and supporting government efforts in various sectors.
