Widespread Houthi Arrest Campaign Targets Leaders and Staff of the Oil Company

On Tuesday, the Houthi group carried out a widespread arrest campaign in the city of Hodaidah, targeting a number of leaders and staff of the oil company.
The field team of the Yemeni Network for Rights and Freedoms confirmed that the armed group had turned Kamaran Island into a collective prison, noting that many citizens had been forcibly disappeared under espionage-related charges.
These events in Hodaidah continue to highlight the deteriorating human rights situation in the region, raising concerns among local and international human rights organizations.
