Police in Mashra’a Wa Hadnan District, Taiz Governorate (southwest Yemen), have arrested a suspect involved in a shooting incident that left three civilians seriously injured in the village of Al-Hajf.
Colonel Lutfi Al-Samit, the district police chief, stated that security forces responded immediately after receiving the report, providing medical assistance to the injured and collecting preliminary information at the scene.
He added that the suspect, identified as (A.A.A.), was taken into custody and placed in detention pending legal procedures and referral to the appropriate authorities.
Al-Samit reaffirmed the security forces’ commitment to maintaining safety and stability, urging citizens to continue cooperating with the relevant authorities.
