Houthis: 107 Killed and 223 Injured Due to US Airstrikes Since Mid-March

Yemen Monitor/Newsroom:

The Houthi group announced today, Wednesday, that the number of casualties from US airstrikes has risen to 107 killed and 223 injured since mid-March.

This came in a statement by the Houthi-affiliated Ministry of Health in Sana’a, which described the US strikes on the group’s positions as “aggression.”

The Houthis say that all the victims are civilians, while Washington denies this, stating that all its targets are military sites belonging to the armed group.

US officials say that US fighters have targeted more than 300 Houthi targets since the start of the attacks in March until yesterday, Tuesday.

The US airstrikes come after President Donald Trump issued orders to his country’s army to launch a “major offensive” against the Houthi group, before threatening to “eliminate them completely.”
