Iranian attacks on Arabian Gulf states continued on the 18th day of the American-Israeli war against the Iranian regime. Two injuries were reported in Kuwait and one death in the UAE, while fires broke out in industrial centers in the Emirate of Sharjah and Qatar. Additionally, a wave of missiles and drones targeted Saudi Arabia and Qatar without resulting in casualties.
United Arab Emirates
The UAE Ministry of Defense announced that its air defenses engaged 10 ballistic missiles and 45 drones originating from Iran. Meanwhile, the Abu Dhabi Media Office reported this morning the death of a Pakistani resident due to falling shrapnel from an intercepted missile in the Bani Yas area.
Fujairah was targeted for the third time in four days, leading to a partial suspension of oil loading at the Port of Fujairah after a fire broke out at the export terminal. Operations at the “Shah” gas field also remained suspended. Furthermore, the maritime security firm Ambrey received reports of explosions near a vessel anchored northwest of Sharjah, coinciding with the Civil Defense bringing a moderate fire under control at a commercial center in the industrial area.
Saudi Arabia
The official spokesman for the Ministry of Defense, Brigadier General Turki al-Maliki, announced the interception and destruction of 12 drones in the Eastern Province, bringing the total number of interceptions over the past few hours to more than 60 drones over Saudi territory.
This follows a day in which 96 drones targeting the Riyadh and Eastern regions were destroyed, in addition to the interception of a ballistic missile directed toward Al-Kharj Governorate, reflecting the intensity of the targeting aimed at vital facilities in the Kingdom.
Kuwait
Iranian attacks on Kuwait have not ceased; the Ministry of Defense announced that it engaged and intercepted two hostile ballistic missiles and 13 hostile drones over the past 24 hours. The Ministry of Health revealed that two members of the medical emergency teams were injured after shrapnel fell on an ambulance center, while explosives teams at the Ministry of Interior handled 6 reports of falling shrapnel resulting from interception operations. Additionally, a Kuwaiti-flagged LNG tanker was damaged by drone debris that struck it near the Port of Fujairah.
Qatar and Bahrain
The Qatari Ministry of Defense confirmed that the Armed Forces repelled two missile attacks and 13 drones during the past 24 hours, leading to falling shrapnel that caused a limited fire in an industrial area, which was brought under control without injuries. For its part, the Bahrain Defense Force revealed an updated toll of Iranian missiles and drones intercepted and destroyed, reaching 129 missiles and 233 drones since the start of the Iranian aggressions.
