Yemen Monitor / Newsroom:

The leader of the Yemeni Houthi group, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, announced on Saturday evening that his group is on full alert and will participate in activities supporting Iran.

In a speech broadcast by the group’s Al-Masirah satellite channel, al-Houthi stated: “Within the framework of our Islamic, moral, and principled solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran, and as part of our readiness for all developments, we will move across various activities.”

He added, “It is everyone’s duty to show solidarity with Iran and support it by all available means to press for an end to the aggression.”

Al-Houthi described the U.S. and Israeli targeting of Iran as “part of Zionist efforts to enable Israel to control the region,” adding that “Iran’s targeting of U.S. bases in the region is a legitimate right, and is not a targeting of the countries where these bases are located.”

He called on citizens to participate in “wide-scale popular demonstrations tomorrow, Sunday, in the capital Sana’a and other governorates in solidarity with Iran,” emphasizing that his group is ready for any future developments.

The Yemeni [internationally recognized] government warned the Houthi group against engaging in any military movements or “adventures” that it claimed serve “Iran’s agenda.” It stressed that using Yemeni territory as a platform to target neighboring countries or international interests represents a hostile act that harms Yemen’s interests and national security.

In an official statement, the government said that dragging Yemen into regional conflicts will only deepen instability, holding the group responsible for any consequences resulting from such movements amid the ongoing regional escalation.

The Yemeni government renewed its call for the international community to adopt a firm stance against what it described as repeated Iranian violations of state sovereignty and to work toward deterring any behavior that might ignite a broader confrontation in the region.

Six Arab countries—Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Jordan—have witnessed explosions and interceptions of Iranian missiles since Saturday morning.

On Saturday morning, Israel and the United States launched a continuous offensive against Iran, targeting the capital Tehran as well as the cities of Isfahan, Qom, Karaj, and Kermanshah. Meanwhile, Iran announced the start of a large-scale attack using missiles and drones.
