Arab Coalition Commander Congratulates Al-Alimi on Recent Gains for the Yemeni People

The Commander of the Joint Forces of the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen and Chairman of the Supreme Military Committee, Lieutenant General Fahd bin Hamad Al-Salman, extended his congratulations to His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, on the recent gains and decisions taken in support of the Yemeni people.
This came during President Al-Alimi’s reception of Lt. Gen. Al-Salman today, Monday, during which they reviewed mechanisms for joint military coordination and bilateral cooperation programs between Yemen and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. These efforts aim to enhance the capabilities of the armed forces in confronting security threats, combating terrorism, smuggling, and organized crime, and to strengthen a promising strategic partnership.
During the meeting, President Al-Alimi expressed his appreciation for the Kingdom’s brotherly positions, praising the qualitative successes of the joint forces in the operation to take over military camps and secure the temporary capital, Aden, and the liberated governorates. He also commended Saudi humanitarian and financial support that contributes to strengthening stability and development in Yemen.
For his part, Lt. Gen. Fahd Al-Salman reaffirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to supporting the Yemeni people and their political leadership to achieve security, stability, peace, and development, stressing the continuation of full military support and coordination with the Yemeni armed forces.
