Disposal of 594 kg of Hashish and Quantities of Captagon at Al-Wadeeah Border Crossing

Today, the leadership of the Al-Wadeeah Border Crossing Protection Battalion destroyed large quantities of narcotics and contraband seized over various periods during attempts to smuggle them into the territory of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The materials burned and destroyed included:
- 594 kg of hashish.
- 118,589 Captagon pills, which were professionally concealed within passenger vehicles and transport trucks.
- 4 kg of Crystal Meth (Shabu): classified as one of the most dangerous types of drugs intercepted.
- 75 kg of “Qiro” and 68 kg of prohibited medical drugs.
- 1,300 kg of “Tumbak” (tobacco) and 3,300 cartons of smuggled cigarettes that did not meet legal standards and specifications.
- 750 kg of Qat.
The disposal operation took place in the presence of a specialized committee comprising military and security authorities from both the Yemeni and Saudi sides.
