Former Shabwa Governor: “Southern-Southern” Dialogue Restores the Southern Cause to its Correct Path

Yemen Monitor / Newsroom:

Former Shabwa Governor Mohammed Saleh Bin Adio affirmed that the widespread momentum surrounding the Southern-Southern dialogue sponsored by the Kingdom clearly indicates that we are facing a new phase in which the Southern cause is being restored to its correct path.

In a post on his official account, he explained that the broad welcome from various political and popular forces and components towards the invitation from the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to sponsor a Southern-Southern dialogue marks a new stage, free from all the negatives that harmed it in the past.

Bin Adio pointed out that the current moment represents the appropriate time to review positions, heal wounds, and look towards a promising future built on the foundations of partnership, consensus, and dialogue—a future where opinions may vary and convictions may differ, while decision-making and weapons remain solely in the hands of the state and its official institutions.

The former governor emphasized in his statement the necessity of placing the interests of the people and their aspirations for a secure, stable future, and alleviating their suffering as a primary goal and ultimate objective that everyone strives to achieve. This, he stressed, ensures overcoming the challenges of the past and moving towards a political horizon that achieves stability and development.
