Algeria Calls for Dialogue and Restraint to Resolve the Crisis in Al-Mahra and Hadramawt

Algeria has expressed deep concern over the serious developments in Yemen’s Al-Mahra and Hadramawt governorates, warning of their potential repercussions on the security, stability, and unity of the Republic of Yemen.
In a statement issued on Saturday, Algeria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that it is closely and attentively monitoring the situation in the two Yemeni governorates and expressed full support for all efforts aimed at resolving the crisis peacefully.
The statement noted that Algeria values diplomatic efforts to spare Yemen further escalation, tension, and division, calling on all Yemeni parties to act responsibly, exercise restraint, and prioritize dialogue.
It added that commitment to a comprehensive political path is the way to restore security and stability, preserve Yemen’s unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, emphasizing the importance of wisdom in dealing with the current crisis to prevent its escalation.
