The Royal Oman Police (ROP) announced the seizure of a maritime vessel carrying four individuals of Yemeni nationality.
According to a police statement, coast guard patrols under the Dhofar Governorate Police Command intercepted and arrested the suspects while they were attempting to enter Omani territorial waters illegally.
The ROP added that the suspects were found in possession of quantities of narcotics intended for smuggling and trafficking. Legal proceedings against the individuals are currently being finalized.
