Including Qahtan: Near-Complete Agreement Reached for the Release of “Thousands” of Yemeni Detainees

Majed Fadael, a member of the government negotiating delegation on the issue of abductees and prisoners, has confirmed a positive development in the course of the ongoing negotiations.
Fadael stated that the tenth round of consultations witnessed significant progress, with the parties reaching a near-complete agreement.
He explained that the agreement includes provisions for the release of thousands of detainees and abductees, following intensive efforts that extended over a long period of time.
According to Fadael, the releases will include individuals from all parties and across all fronts, reflecting a shared willingness to bring this humanitarian crisis to an end.
Fadael expressed his appreciation for the efforts made to achieve this progress, emphasizing that the agreement represents an important step toward peace and stability.
