Yemen Monitor Newsroom:
The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has announced that it requires funding amounting to $126.25 million to implement its humanitarian plan aimed at supporting children in Yemen during the upcoming year.
This request comes amidst rising humanitarian needs for Yemeni children. In an official statement, the organization pointed to the increasing challenges facing younger age groups, particularly as the country’s humanitarian crisis persists.
Previous United Nations reports have confirmed that the majority of Yemen’s children heavily depend on urgent aid for survival, underscoring the critical importance of supporting humanitarian initiatives directed towards them.
