Against The Backdrop of Their Celebration of The September 26 Revolution… The Houthis Continue to Detain 23 Citizens, Including Children, In Al-Bayda

Yemen Monitor / Al-Bayda / Exclusive:
The Houthi group continues to detain 23 citizens, including children, in Al-Bayda governorate (central Yemen), who were kidnapped from their homes for celebrating the anniversary of the September 26 revolution.
Local sources told “Yemen Monitor” that the Houthis continue to detain 23 people, including children, and refuse to release them despite tribal mediations. Among the detainees are 5 people from one area in Radman district.
The sources explained that the Houthis released one of the detainees two days ago due to his health condition and after tribal mediations.
Journalist Fares Al-Hemyari had revealed that the detainees have been subjected to torture and severe abuse in Houthi prisons since their arrest last September.
Last September, the Houthis launched a widespread arrest campaign against citizens celebrating the September revolution. The Yemeni Network for Rights had mentioned that 613 cases of arrest occurred in the Houthi-controlled governorates during September 2025.
